Becoming an Author Beyond the Writing – Preparing for your Author Journey. Start thinking beyond the words on the page, to the world your book will inhabit and to the reader you’re hoping to connect with. We will discuss ways to build an author CV, find and connect with community, using and growing your social media and more. The course will get the writer thinking about the place their book will sit on the bookseller shelves and will help them better understand the publishing as they start their author journey. For authors currently working on their debut, but not yet ready for pitching or publication.
